Beautiful love

One day a girl and a boy fell in love. 

The guy came from a poor family, a very poor family  so the family of the girl weren't happy at all. 

Their was also another problem, the guy is a soldier. Soon, a war broke out and the guy was sent overseas. A week before the guy left, he proposed  to the girl and asked her hands and confess  his love and tell her if she would marry him? 

The girl burst into tears and said YES! They were now engaged. The boy promised the girl that he will comes back after a year so they could get married. 

But tragedy struck, few days after he left the girl had a major vehicular accident. It was a head collision.

Months passed the girl woke up at the hospital, seeing her mother and father crying, she knows something is wrong

She found out that she suffered brain injury. The part of her brain that controlled her face muscles  was damaged. Her once lovely face was now disfigured. She cried as she saw herself in the mirror. "Yesterday I was beautiful, now I'm a monster" she cannot help but pity herself. She felt like everything was lost. 

Right there and then, she decided to let the boy go, because of what happened to her. She told the boy she didn't want him anymore! 

After a year, the boy came back. Her mother told her the the boy is here. She shouted " No! Please I don't want to see him anymore. Don't  tell him I'm here." 

The mother said, " He's getting married " and handed her the invitation. 

She was in pain, her heart shrunk. With great sadness, she opened the invitation. 

She saw her name on it! 

Confused, she asked " What is this?"

The boy entered the room with a flower on his hand. He knelt in front of her and said, " Will you marry me?"

The girl covered her face with her hands and said, " would you marry someone like me?  As ugly as I am? "

The boy answered, " Without you knowing, your mother sent me your photos. When I see it, I realized no matter how you look, my feelings for you is the same. Your still the person I want to be with. The love of my life. My better half. I love you yesterday,  today and tomorrow "
